Daily amount – Give 1 to 2 chews daily.

The three ingredients work on different parts of the same problem. Colostrum Calming Complex® is a patented blend of colostrum biopeptides that supports relaxation and normal cognition. L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea, supports calm behaviour through the production of serotonin and dopamine, which directly affect mood — and it does so without the sluggishness associated with sedatives. Thiamine, vitamin B1, supports normal nervous system function; cats low in thiamine can show increased nervous behaviour and confusion. Because the formula supports normal brain activity rather than suppressing it, your cat stays alert and able to respond, which matters since a sedated cat is simply one that cannot remove itself from a situation it still finds frightening. The effect begins at around 30 minutes and lasts roughly 4 hours, so timing the dose to the event matters more than giving it early.
