How to Use

Dogs up to 13.5 kg (30 lb) – ½ chew daily.

Dogs 14–27 kg (31–60 lb) – 1 chew daily.

Dogs over 27 kg (61 lb and above) – 2 chews daily.

Timing – Give around 30 minutes before a stressful event. It can be given with or without food.

Frequency – Up to twice daily, or on an as-needed basis. There is no loading period.

Times of increased stress – It is safe to double the amount. Unlike standard Calm & Confident, this clinical strength formula should not be tripled.

For dogs only – Do not give this formula to cats. Consult your vet for specific dosing, or if your dog is under veterinary care.

How It Works

The four ingredients work on different parts of the same problem. Colostrum Calming Complex® is a biopeptide blend that supports relaxation and cognition. L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea, promotes calm without the sedation that comes with drug-based approaches. L-tryptophan is the precursor the body uses to make serotonin, which underpins mood stability. Thiamine supports nervous system function. Because they support normal brain and nervous system activity rather than suppressing it, the effect is a dog that can settle and still think clearly — which matters if you are working through a behaviour plan, where a sedated dog cannot learn. The trade-off is that it works within around 30 minutes and lasts roughly 4 hours, so timing the dose to the event matters.

How much should I give?

Half a chew daily up to 13.5 kg, 1 chew from 14 to 27 kg, and 2 chews over 27 kg. It can be given up to twice daily or as needed.

Can I increase the dose for fireworks night?

It is safe to double the amount in times of increased stress. Note that unlike standard Calm & Confident, this clinical strength formula should not be tripled.

Will it sedate my dog?
