Is this suitable for a Dachshund?

Dachshunds are the breed this kind of supplement is most associated with. Their chondrodystrophic build means the spinal discs degenerate earlier than in other breeds, and they have the highest rate of intervertebral disc disease of any breed. A standard Dachshund of 7 to 14 kg takes 2 capsules daily; a miniature under 7 kg takes 1.

Is this suitable for a French Bulldog?

Yes. Screw-tailed breeds such as French Bulldogs and Pugs are prone to hemivertebrae, or malformed vertebrae, which places extra demand on the connective tissues of the spine. A typical Frenchie of 11 to 13 kg takes 2 capsules daily.
